Swine Flu in Texas

Many schools are closing down for a few weeks and all sports and academic programs that require travel have been postponed statewide due to the increasing number of swine flu cases. Many countries are scrutinizing American travelers for symptoms of the flu.

All I can say is... IF I DON'T GET TO GO TO ALASKA NEXT MONTH, I'M GOING TO BE MAJORLY TICKED!!!!!

  1. You aren't the only one that will be worse than ticked. We have 6 cases in California with 4 of them in Sac.

  2. We have stuff all around us but nothing in the county yet...no school are shut down. Hopefully this will be pretty much over by the time you go to Alaska.

  3. Fort Worth ISD has closed for over a week, I am very concerned as my kids babysitter just got back from Mexico City last week, and I am constantly traveling from school to school.
Got this text from Linda, i thought it was pretty funny.
It was once said that a black man would be president "when pigs fly" indeed 100 days into Obama's presidency... Swine flu!

  5. We hope to stay clear of that too. A case was reported in Reno. Thing is, we are always going to Reno for some reason or another. Alaska sounds like fun to me!
